The LG Twins made a number of early changes to their lineup before the fifth inning was over.

The KBO League game between LG and Kiwoom at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Aug. 8. LG’s starting lineup was Hong Chang-ki (right fielder), Moon Sung-joo (left fielder), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Austin (first baseman), Park Dong-won (catcher), Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop), Lee Jae-won (designated hitter), Park Hae-min (center fielder), and Shin Min-jae (second baseman).

However, LG made a number of changes to its lineup before the defense in the bottom of the fifth inning, when it trailed 0-7. They took out four starters: Hong Chang-ki, Moon Bo-kyung, Park Dong-won, and Oh Ji-hwan.

In place of Hong Chang-ki, Lee Ju-hyung played left field. No. 2 Moon Sung-joo moved from left wing to right wing. No. 3 Moon Bo-kyung was removed and Kim Min-sung was substituted at shortstop. Catcher Park Dong-won is out and Heo Do-hwan wears the catcher’s mask. Oh Ji-hwan is out and Jung Joo-hyun comes in as the third baseman.

With the four backups on the bench, there was no one left on the bench except Kim Hyun-soo.

The LG bench appeared to give the starters a break as the score gap widened. Kiwoom exploded for seven runs on 11 hits in the fourth inning. They scored three runs in the first inning, including a two-run double by Lee Jung-hoo, and then pounded out another five hits in the fourth inning to extend their lead to 7-0.

The LG bats were silent against Kiwoom starter Choi Won-tae until the fifth inning, with four sporadic hits and no runs. With the score at 0-7, four starters were pulled. It looked like a game management thinking about the next game 스포츠토토.

Giving up the game in the 5th inning…pulling all four starters at once, what happened?
